Play-Yan (Known as Play-Yan DS in Japan) is an add-on for the Nintendo DS. Play-Yan is a remake of the Game Boy Advance add-on of the same name.
Differences[]
- There is a choice at the very beginning of the add-on: Are You Male & Female? If the player choses Male, it uses the original look, & if they chose Female, it changes to Pop Singer
- The player can tap (or flick) to take rhythm
- There are new 2 options, Camera and Game
- Camera: They can takes pictures or record a video
- Game: It run/play Arcade and Neo Geo emulators

- According to Aspen Pellot, this add-on was only for the Nintendo DS Lite
- There is an Easter Egg where the text Movies and music to... will change to I love music (I suppose in Pop Singer)
- When you tap or flick, it shows the Rhythm Heaven character that appears when you tap, flick or hold in Rhythm Heaven, Aspen Pellot named the character The Tap Microbe.
